Supreme Court Justice Alito stated that our country is facing a time when religious freedom is under attack. He also stated that those who support immoral cultural sentiments will “vilify those who disagree, and treat them as bigots, . . . we are seeing this come to pass.”
Justice Alito asserted religious freedom is recognized in Congress and the courts, but it takes more time and effort to change hearts and minds.
Alito stated that “we are likely to see pitched battles in courts and Congress, state legislatures and town halls, but the most important fight is for the hearts and minds of our fellow Americans. It is up to all of us to evangelize our fellow Americans about the issue of religious freedom.”
